Investing in Missouri's K-8 Schools
Through our grant program, the Missouri K-8 Association invests in the future of Missouri’s K-8 schools by helping districts turn ideas into opportunities. From innovative classroom projects to resources that enrich student learning, these grants support the creativity, dedication, and vision of our schools. Each grant represents more than financial support—it’s an investment in students, stronger school communities, and the future of education across Missouri.
Bringing Learning to Life!
Preschool and kindergarten students at New York R-IV School District are putting their Missouri K-8 Association Grant Award to good use with a new LED light table and hands-on learning manipulatives! Students can explore letters, numbers, and shapes through interactive, sensory-based activities.
This grant helps build a strong foundation for future success by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and the development of early literacy, math, and fine motor skills—all while making learning fun and engaging!
A More Flexible Way to Learn!
Students in Tabitha Blackstock’s fourth-grade class are putting their K-8 Grant Award to good use with new flexible seating options! Students can choose the seating that works best for them each day, including wobble stools, yoga ball chairs, traditional chairs with bouncy feet, and an ergonomic chair.
By giving students the freedom to choose how they sit while completing their schoolwork, this grant helps create a more comfortable, engaging, and student-centered learning environment!
Small Grants. Meaningful Impact
Every grant represents an opportunity to help a Missouri K-8 school do something more for its students. We are proud to recognize the schools turning these opportunities into meaningful experiences for their communities.
Invest in Innovation! Make an Impact!
The Missouri K-8 Association Grant Program is open to member school districts seeking innovative ways to enhance learning and create meaningful opportunities for students. Grants of up to $1,000 are available to support innovative classroom projects that directly benefit K-8 students. Applicants must describe their proposed project, explain how it will impact students, and provide a detailed budget. Grant funds may not be used for salaries or stipends. Recipients must also agree to complete a follow-up report, including a description and photo of how the funds were used. We encourage our member districts to take advantage of this opportunity to bring new ideas to life in their schools!
